Job Description

We are seeking a talented and motivated Junior IT Project Manager to join our team at Augusta Software House Limited. As a Junior IT Project Manager, you will work closely with senior project managers and clients to ensure the successful planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects. This role offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in project management within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • 1. Collaborate with senior project managers to assist in the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects according to established timelines and budget constraints.
  • 2. Support the development of project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring alignment with client requirements and company objectives.
  • 3. Assist in defining project scope, goals, and deliverables, and ensure adherence to quality standards and project requirements.
  • 4. Coordinate project resources, including team members, vendors, and subcontractors, to ensure efficient project execution and successful outcomes.
  • 5. Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and proactively implement mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions and delays.
  • 6. Prepare and deliver project status reports, presentations, and updates to stakeholders, including senior management and clients, to communicate project progress and milestones.
  • 7. Foster strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and addressing any concerns or issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • 8. Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to contribute to continuous improvement and innovation within the organization.

Qualifications

  • 1. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 2. Previous experience in IT project management or a related role is preferred but not required.
  • 3. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • 4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
  • 5. Proactive and self-motivated with a strong willingness to learn and develop new skills.
  • 6. Knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques is a plus.
  • 7. Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • 8. Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes and methodologies is an advantage.
